Spanish Super Cup - Real Madrid beat Mallorca 3-0 to advance to the final

The 2024/25 Spanish Super Cup staged another final at King Abdullah Sports City. La Liga giants Real Madrid relied on goals contributed by Bellingham and Rodrigo to finally defeat Mallorca 3-0 and successfully advance to the final.

Two minutes into the game, Real Madrid took the initiative to organize an attack. Mbappe received Bellingham's through ball and entered the penalty area to pass back. Vazquez stepped forward and shot but was blocked by the Mallorca goalkeeper. In the 11th minute, Chuameni got the ball outside the penalty area and adjusted a few steps before shooting from a distance. The Mallorca goalkeeper immediately fell to the ground and saved the ball.

In the 85th minute, Camavinga and Vasquez cooperated and shot low from the penalty area, but the ball was blocked by the Mallorca goalkeeper.

In the second half stoppage time, Mbappe made a cross from the front court, and Brahim Dias received the ball and passed it to the penalty area, but Mallorca defender Valente kicked the ball directly into his own goal when clearing the ball, allowing Real Madrid to continue to lead Mallorca 2-0. Three minutes later, Vazquez made a cross from the right, and Rodrigo scored with a lob shot, helping Real Madrid expand their lead to 3-0.

In the end, Real Madrid defeated Mallorca 3-0 and successfully obtained a ticket to the final of this season's Spanish Super Cup.
