Pep Guardiola aims to reach seventh straight FA Cup semi-final

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola said his only goal is to reach the FA Cup semi-finals for the seventh consecutive season and continue the team's brilliant record. Manchester City will face Bournemouth in a difficult game on the pitch.  

Pep Guardiola said the team's goal is clear, that is to fight for a Champions League spot next season. However, the team's current focus is on the game against Bournemouth. Pep Guardiola said: "Our goal is to reach the FA Cup semi-final for the seventh consecutive time, and then win the game and qualify for the Champions League next season."  

“We want to beat Bournemouth and be ready for the game against Leicester. Last season, we made it to the semi-finals for the sixth time in a row, which shows how important it is for us to reach this competition.”  

“We are taking this game seriously, just like we took the Carabao Cup seriously and won four games in a row. We don’t know what the result will be, but we will give it our all.”  

Bournemouth are aiming to reach their first final in their history and manager Pep Guardiola said the fact so many clubs have lifted trophies underlined the strength of English football. "It shows how good they are, we see it every week in the Premier League and they showed it again in the FA Cup," said Pep Guardiola.  

"I always remember when I was at Barcelona and Bayern Munich, in England, every team could beat every team. Liverpool are doing really well in the Premier League, but for the rest of the teams, anything can happen in football.
