Rashford scored twice and enjoyed playing football again

Marcus Rashford said he had "rediscovered the joy of playing football" after scoring twice as Aston Villa beat Preston North End 3-0 in the FA Cup quarter-final and reached the semi-final at Wembley.

This was Rashford's first goal after joining Villa on loan. He scored the first goal for the team and then scored a penalty to complete his double, adding a footnote to his continued improvement in form.

The 27-year-old England striker started two games in a row in the recent national team games, and then returned to the club's starting striker, and his condition has steadily improved. Since being loaned to Villa from Manchester United, his physical condition and game rhythm have improved significantly.

After the game, Rashford said: "It's a great feeling. I feel that I am getting better and better and playing better. It's always a pleasure for a striker to score goals. I hope this momentum can continue."
