Wolverhampton Wanderers officially completes contract extension with Colombia international defender Yerson Mosquera..

Wolverhampton Wanderers announced on their official website on Monday that the club has extended the contract of its Colombia international defender Yerson Mosquera.


According to Wolves' official statement, Mosquera has signed on a new long-term five-year deal with the club, which runs until the summer of 2030, with an . option to extend for a further year.


After completing his contract extension procedures, Mosquera, who was interviewed by the Wolverhampton Wanderers official website again, said: "I am very happy to stay at Wolves. This is a good opportunity because I need to come back and I have another chance to play here. About Yerson Mosquera


The 23-year-old Mosquera was born on May 2, 2001 in Apartado, Colombia. He is 1.88 meters tall and primarily plays as a center back, but can also play as a right back.


Mosquera joined the football academy opened by his uncle in Colombia at a young age. In 2018, he was spotted by scouts and joined the Atlético Nacional youth academy and He completed his Atlético Nacional first-team debut in a Copa Libertadores match in October 2020.
