Tosin Adarabioyo is currently halfway through his first season at Chelsea and the defender is happy at the club so far and enjoying life at Stamford Bridge.
Tosin Adarabioyo moved to Chelsea from Fulham this summer to provide a stronger option in the team's central defense line so that the team can participate in European competitions again. Tosin Adarabioyo has proved himself to be an important member of the team, making 16 appearances for the team and starting 5 of the last 7 league games. Tosin Adarabioyo is excellent in terms of physical fitness and passing.
Tosin Adarabioyo said: “It’s an absolutely amazing feeling when you pull on the Chelsea shirt. You know how big this club is, how prestigious it is and how many legends it has had in the past.
"It feels like home here. The adaptation process was very smooth. I got to know the coach and several friends. It feels really great."
Now, Tosin Adarabioyo is enjoying learning from coach Enzo Maresca and his teammates every day. Tosin Adarabioyo knows that the quality of the team means that while a place in the starting line-up is not guaranteed, it is beneficial in terms of raising standards and getting the best out of everyone.
Tosin Adarabioyo added: “When you join a top club like Chelsea, there are top players in every position. So you have to train hard every day and be patient and wait for your opportunity, like I have done so far.”
"Competing for a place takes your game to the next level and that's what it's all about. So, that's why we have so many good players in every position to push us forward."
‘We are a unit at Chelsea and whether you are on the bench or in the starting line-up, we support each other. We all encourage each other and we all compete on the training pitch for our chances to play for the team. Despite all this, we always stick together and that is the most important thing for the team.
