The second stage of the LCK Spring Split is in full swing: Experience leads to victory, DK narrowly beat BFX in three games

On April 4, as the second phase of the LCK Spring Split officially kicked off, all the teams showed their strength to compete for the precious spots to the MSI, and the intensity and viewing quality of the competition were fully upgraded. In the focus match on the second day, DK and the dark horse team BFX launched a wonderful BO3 battle. In the end, DK relied on its experienced team battle execution and rich competition experience to defeat BFX with a score of 2:1, ushering in a good start in this phase.

In the first game, BFX chose the blue team, using Gwen, Maokai, Yongen, Miss Fortune and Rell to build a mid-term burst system; while DK used Rumble, Ivern, Corki, Ezreal and Leona, following a typical double- C pull-and-pull play style. At the beginning of the game, the two sides started a fierce battle in the bottom lane. DK Leona was killed for being too aggressive, and BFX gained a small advantage. However, DK quickly adjusted, gradually controlled the map and accumulated economic advantages with stable operations.

The 13th minute dragon fight became a turning point. BFX lost the initiative, and DK decisively counterattacked and scored 2 for 4 , taking the opportunity to control the mid-term rhythm. As the game progressed, DK continued to expand its advantage. Riel and Yongen made mistakes in teamfights, and DK completed the division and pulling in multiple teamfights, completely defeating the opponent. In the end, in the 28th minute, DK ended the game in a key teamfight when Gwen failed to TP around.

BFX , who were fighting a desperate battle , decisively changed their lineup in the second game, choosing Jax, Xin Zhao, Ahri, Kalista and Lenata, and played more aggressively; DK built a control lineup of Gnar, Scorpion, Taliyah, Senna and Cho'Gath. However, DK's overall rhythm was chaotic in this game, and BFX caught their flaws many times.

In the third minute, ShowMaker was killed in the middle lane, and BFX was in high spirits. In the ninth minute, Kalista got three kills in a row in the dragon fight, which directly tilted the situation. BFX snowballed through Kalista many times, cooperated well in team fights, and quickly took control of the game. In the end, it only took 26 minutes for BFX to take down the big dragon with a wonderful team fight, quickly ending the battle and tying the score to 1:1 .

In the deciding game, DK's blue team chose Aatrox, Nayafiri, Alola, Kai'Sa and Gragas, building a lineup with both front row and burst; BFX took out Quesanti, Vi, Azar, Ashe and Braum, trying to break the situation through the cooperation of Azar and Vi's entry.

Although DK gained some kill advantages in the early stage, BFX resisted tenaciously, especially in the mid-term, they continuously created kill opportunities through the linkage of Wei and Tsar, and once surpassed the economy. In the crucial 27th minute , BFX successfully killed DK's core mid laner ShowMaker and tried to control the situation. But Lucid decisively grabbed Ertahan, allowing DK to stabilize its position.

In the subsequent dragon team battle, ShowMaker decisively caught Ashe first, driving the rhythm of the entire team battle. Aatrox and Nayafili stood up and won the team against the odds despite the disadvantage in numbers. In the 36th minute, in the final dragon team battle, BFX tried to go behind but made a mistake in coordination. DK seized the opportunity to end the game and finally won the BO3 with a difficult score of 2:1 .

Although DK won, BFX 's performance is also worthy of recognition from the perspective of the game process. They dominated the second game and repeatedly created threats in the final game. If they can continue to maintain their form in subsequent games, BFX is still expected to hit a higher ranking. DK needs to further adjust their form, improve their overall coordination and ability to withstand pressure, so as to cope with stronger opponents in the future.
