German Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) powerhouse G2 announced on Tuesday through its official X (Twitter) account that Polish AWP-er hades from the Ukrainian club Monte will join the team on-loan.
According to G2's official statement, hades will play for the team on-loan for six months until the end of the season.
After that, depending on his performance, G2 will consider whether to buy out hades' ownership, who was temporarily being benched by Monte.
In addition, hades will also replace m0NESY, who has recently joined Saudi Arabian powerhouse Falcons, as the team's new starting player.
About hades
The 25-year-old hades was born in Poland on January 1, 2000 and mainly plays as a AWP-er.
hades officially became a professional Counter Strike 2 (CS2) e-sports player in the 2018 season.
At that time, he played for several local clubs in Poland. It was not until he joined Wisla Krakow in 2020 and won the Nine to Five Serie 5 with the team that he began to make some name.
In June of the following year, hades moved to ENCE and officially ushered in one of the most glorious moments in his career.
During this spell, he hades led the team to the top four in the 2022 PGL Major Antwerp, and ranked in the top two in the A-level and S-level qualifiers in multiple European region events.
In July 2024, hades joined Monte.
In his near one-year spell with Monte, he won the A1 Gaming League Season 9 with the team, and also won the top four and runner-up in the 2024 ESL Challenger Katowice and CCT Season 2 Series 16 with the team, but performed poorly in subsequent events, and was often eliminated in the early stages and was eventually benched a few weeks ago.
