FA Cup - Chelsea beat Morecambe 5-0 as two players scored twice

In the third round of the 2024-25 FA Cup, Chelsea hosted Morecambe. Tosun Adarabioyo and Joao Felix scored twice to help Chelsea win 5-0.

In the 17th minute of the first half, Morecambe committed handball and Chelsea got a penalty kick. Christopher Nkunku took the penalty, but it was saved by Morecambe goalkeeper Harry Bulger.

In the 40th minute, Reece James passed the ball to Adarabioyo, who shot from outside the penalty area and the ball went into the net, giving Chelsea their first point.

In the 50th minute of the second half, Renato Vega shot, which was saved by Burge. Nkunku made a follow-up shot and scored, and Chelsea got the second point.

In the 70th minute, Tyreek George made a diagonal pass and Adarabioyo also scored a long shot outside the penalty area, and Chelsea easily won the third point.

In the 75th minute, George assisted the pass again, Felix received the ball and shot straight, the ball successfully entered the net, Chelsea won the 4th point and continued to expand the score.

In the 77th minute, just two minutes after the previous goal, Marc Cucurella passed the ball back from the left, and Felix scored his second goal, and Chelsea got the 5th point.

Until the final whistle, Morecambe did not score a goal and Chelsea won 5-0. Chelsea successfully advanced to the next round of the FA Cup, while Morecambe could only stop there.
