Virtus.pro (VP) part ways with head coach PASHANOJ..

Russian Counter Strike 2 (CS2) powerhouse Virtus.pro (VP), announced on Tuesday through its official X (Twitter) account that the club has decided to part ways with its head coach PASHANOJ.

According to VP's official statement, everyone in the club is very grateful to PASHANOJ for his time with the team. During his tenure, he made important contributions to the team's preparations for international tournaments and helped develop the team's tactical system.

However, the situation in the past few weeks has shown that the team needs a new coaching perspective, especially considering the club's plans and goals for the new season. PASHANOJ has performed his duties diligently and provided strong support to the team during the transitional period, but the subsequent development requires a different coaching approach.

Although the two parties will no longer work together, VP is still very grateful to PASHANOJ for his contribution to the club and wishes him all the best in the future. The new head coach of the club's CS2 team will be announced in the near future.

About PASHANOJ

PASHANOJ, 30, was born in Russia on May 21, 1994. He was a professional player and mainly played the role of in-game leader.

As a professional Counter Strike (CS) e-sports player, PASHANOJ played for ESPADA, Space Jam, DNG and UniQUE among many other teams from 2017 to 2021, and won several Russian C-tier tournaments.

After retiring in late 2022, PASHANOJ joined K23 as an assistant coach. During this spell, the team lost to the German powerhouse BIG in the 2022 IEM Rio European Qualifiers and being eliminated in the top 11.

In July of the following year, PASHANOJ joined VP as an analyst, and later replaced Xoma as head coach in September 2024.

During his 8-month spell with VP, PASHANOJ led the team to qualify for the Shanghai Major and reached the knockout stage in IEM Katowice. However, due to a series of unsatisfactory results, the club ultimately made a decision to change personnel.
