German e-sports powerhouse G2 announced on Sunday that former OG and Cloud9 Israeli-Ukrainian Rifler HeavyGod, has joined its Counter Strike roster.
According to G2's official statement, HeavyGod will make his debut with his new teammates in the BLAST Bounty S1 Tournament, which starts on January 14.
In addition, his Guatemalan teammate malbsMD will also replace NiKo, who recently joined the Saudi powerhouse Falcons.
About HeavyGod
HeavyGod, who is only 22 years old, was born in Ukraine on July 24, 2002. He has dual Ukrainian and Israeli citizenship and mainly plays as a Rifler.
HeavyGod began to be active in the Counter Strike competitive e-sports circle in 2020. He was the ace of British team Endpoint and averaged in the top 3 in the B-tier tournaments.
In January 2024, HeavyGod joined the Danish powerhouse OG.
During his half-year spell at OG, HeavyGod won the runner-up in the Skyesports Masters.
In July of the same year, HeavyGod moved to Cloud9.
During his time with Cloud9, HeavyGod won the Thunderpick World Series European Series S2 with the team and received an average rating of 1.16.
