Cornet returns from injury and will focus on recovering to prepare for the match against Nottingham Forest

Ibrahima Cornet, the French international who plays for Liverpool, has returned to the pitch after injury and said he will focus on regaining his form and preparing for the match against Nottingham Forest.

Konet had been absent for six weeks due to injury and returned to Liverpool in the Premier League match against Manchester United on January 5. Konet started the game and helped the team draw 2-2 with Manchester United.

In an interview with Liverpool's official website, Cornet talked about his current physical condition and said: "I feel good, although not 100%, but I have worked hard to recover from my knee injury because I know there is an important game coming up.

"When I saw Joe Gomez was injured, I hoped he would recover as soon as possible because he is very important for us. I tried to speed up the recovery process. That game was crucial for us and I also wanted to play against Manchester United. Now, I am ready to recover to 100%."

When talking about his feelings while watching the game from the sidelines during his injury, Cornet said excitedly: "This is the worst for me! Sometimes I don't want to watch the game at all, but I have to watch it. When I was sitting on the bench, my feet started shaking because I really wanted to be on the court with my teammates. This happened, and we can only be patient."

Liverpool's next Premier League game will be away to Nottingham Forest, which Cornet thinks will be a tough match. "When we played there last season, we didn't win the game until the very end. It was a very difficult game, they are a very strong team, especially this season," Cornet said.

"I think they surprised a lot of teams with their performance, and we were surprised too. Now we go there again and we know what we want to do. We have to work very hard because we know it's going to be a tough game. What we need is to stay calm and patient and face this game."
