Como announced on its official website on Monday that the club has signed France international devensive midfielder Maxence Caqueret from Lyon.

According to Como's official statement, Caqueret has signed a long-term contract with the club for 4 and a half years until the summer of 2029.

After completing his joining procedures, Caqueret, who was interviewed by Como's official website for the first time, said: "I am very happy to join this club, they have a great project. I feel that we have everything we need to move forward and improve. So, I am very happy to come to this beautiful city."

About Maxence Caqueret

Caqueret, 24, was born on February 15, 2000 in Venissieux, France. He is 1.74 meters tall and plays as a defensive midfielder.

Caqueret joined Lyon's youth academy at the age of 11, started playing for the Lyon B team in 2016, and completed his Lyon first-team debut in a Coupe de France match in January 2019.

During his six-year spell with , Caqueret played 184 times for the Ligue 1 powerhouse in all competitions, scored 7 goals, assisted 15 times, as well as reaching Coupe de la Ligue final once and the Coupe de France final once with the club.
