In the just-concluded Counter-Strike 2 IEM Dallas 2025 finals, the French powerhouse Team Vitality swept MOUZ 3-0 and won its sixth championship of the year.
Team Vitality won a prize of $125,000 for this victory. It is less than a month since they won the IEM Melbourne Championship at the end of April and achieved the fifth season of the ESL Grand Slam. Now the team has set its sights on the feat of winning two Grand Slams in one year, which has never been achieved in the history of Counter-Strike.
In this final, Team Vitality showed its dominance from the first map Dust II, ropz and ZywOo played at full strength, helping the team win the first game 13-11. In the second map Mirage, Team Vitality took a huge lead of 10-2 on the defensive side. Although MOUZ tried hard to catch up, they still lost again with 9-13.
In the final map, Inferno, Team Vitality played the same game again, and they won the game 13-8. After this battle, Team Vitality pushed their series winning streak to 30 games, breaking the 28-game winning streak set by NiP in 2013.
After joining the team at the beginning of the year, ropz quickly integrated into the system. The duo he and ZywOo formed is considered the strongest in the world, and has also taken Team Vitality's overall combat effectiveness to a higher level.
For MOUZ, this was their seventh consecutive defeat to Team Vitality since last November, three of which were in this year's finals. Although they missed the championship again, their performance still won applause from the audience.
Next, Team Vitality will take a short break and prepare for next month's BLAST.tv Austin Major, making a full effort to win the second Major trophy in team history and continue to write their 2025 legend.
