DreamHack will be adding Shanghai 2025 into their event list..


DreamHack, the world's largest e-sports event organizer, announced on its official website on Thursday that the company has decided to add China into their event list for the first time by organizing an event in Shanghai in 2025.


According to DreamHack's official statement, the DreamHack Shanghai 2025 will be linking up with the Asia Champions League 2025, which will also be held in Shanghai by another company, Hero Esports, and will also be held at the same time.


More details about the DreamHack Shanghai 2025 will be announced later on the DreamHack official Weibo account.


This will also be the first time that DreamHack will introduce its famous DreamHack Carnival to China.


Currently, DreamHack has not yet announced which games will be held in the Shanghai 2025, but it is believed that Counter Strike 2, Overwatch 2 and Dota 2 should be one of the participating games.


Johnny Wang, co-founder and executive director of Hero Esports, and CEO and brand leader of the Asia Champions League, welcomed the news that DreamHack will host another event at the same time.

At the same time, the Asia Champions League 2025 also announced the total prize pool of this event through its official Weibo account on the same day.


According to the official statement of Hero Esports, the total prize pool of the Asia Champions League 2025 event is 15 million RMB.


In the trailer previously released for the event, Street Fighter, PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds and League of Legends will all be part of games competed at the Asia Champions League 2025.
