NAVI Junior officially takes over NAVI's "Dota 2" main lineup

The veteran Ukrainian e-sports team Natus Vincere (NAVI) announced a major lineup change. After the fifth season of PGL Wallachia, the youth training team NAVI Junior will officially take over as the main "Dota 2" team.

This decision was made after NAVI Junior qualified for the 2025 Esports World Cup (EWC) and the most important event of the year, The International Invitational (TI 2025), showing a strong fighting power that surpassed the home team.

NAVI stated on social media that the current main lineup will be disbanded after the final battle of the fifth season of PGL Wallachia held from June 21 to 29, and the players will become free agents and be open to joining other teams.

NAVI Junior has grown steadily since its formation in 2022 and has exploded in 2025. Not only did they make it to EWC through the most competitive Western European qualifiers, they also defeated strong opponents such as OG and MOUZ to advance to TI 2025. Among them, the 16-year-old mid laner Niku became the second youngest player in history to advance to TI, setting a record.

The current NAVI Junior lineup is composed of the carry, third position and support from the original team, together with the talented teenager Niku and the fourth position veteran Zayac who transferred from the main team to become the captain, forming a stable combat force that integrates the old, middle-aged and young.

In contrast, the NAVI main team has not performed well this season, only qualifying for one top event and finishing in the top ten, which is not satisfactory. Faced with the rapid rise of the youth team, NAVI made a decisive decision to change blood and replace it with the most promising new force for the upcoming international season. The new lineup will officially take to the field on July 1, representing NAVI in EWC and TI, opening a new chapter.
