HLTV: G2 plans to delegate Snax and let huNter-transform as the commander

According to HLTV on Tuesday, the CS2 professional team G2 is planning a major lineup reorganization: the 31-year-old Polish player Janusz Pogorzelski (ID: Snax) will be relegated to the bench and replaced by Nemanja Kovacs (ID: huNter-) as the team commander.
Snax has played for many CS teams during his career, including GF-Gaming, Universal Soldiers, AGAiN, Virtus.pro (VP), MOUZ, Illuminar, Anonymo, MONKE, Let Us Cook, Pompa, etc. During this period, he won many championships with the team, including the 2014 ESL Katowice, 2014 Gfinity G3, 2015 ESEA Season 18 Global Finals, 2015 CEVO Season 7, 2015 CEVO Season 8, 2015 FACEIT League Third Stage, 2016 SL i-League Invitational, 2016 ELEAGUE Season 1, 2016 DreamHack Bucharest Open, 2017 DreamHack Las Vegas Masters and 2018 ESL One New York. He joined G2 as a rifleman and commander in July 2024. So far, he has played in 175 maps, participated in 3774 rounds, and harvested 1948 kills. His personal average score is only 0.88.
In view of the ups and downs of Snax's overall state, G2 finally decided to make a lineup adjustment. HLTV learned that G2 is currently looking for a replacement for Snax's rifleman position, among which the 18-year-old Polish rising star Kacper Gabala (ID: xKacpersky) is considered the primary target.
At the same time, huNter- is expected to transform from a rifleman to a team commander. The 29-year-old huNter- has played for GamePub, iNation, Binary Dragons, Valiance and CR4ZY, and officially joined G2 as a rifleman in 2019. So far, he has played 992 maps and participated in 25,232 rounds on behalf of G2, and has obtained 18,056 kills, with an average personal rating of 1.11.
According to huNter-, G2 had proposed to him to be the commander at least five times before, but he did not accept it at that time. In some games this year, huNter- and his teammate m0NESY have assumed most of the tactical dispatching responsibilities on the CT side, laying the groundwork for this transformation.
