Charlotte Hornets guard Brandon Miller suffers wrist injury during game


Charlotte Hornets guard Brandon Miller suffered a wrist injury during a game against the Utah Jazz and an MRI confirmed a torn scapholunate ligament.  

 

Brandon Miller will be out indefinitely due to a torn ligament in his right wrist. Brandon Miller missed the game against the Chicago Bulls due to a wrist injury. After the game, the team announced that the player was injured.  

 

"It's one of those bittersweet things where we're happy for the win but unfortunate with the injury to Brandon Miller," Charlotte Hornets head coach Charles Lee said. "I think we'll continue to evaluate his situation and get as many tests as we can. We have to work together to get Brandon Miller healthy."  

 

Brandon Miller played one season at the University of Alabama before becoming a professional player. This season, he played in 27 games, averaging 34.2 minutes per game, and contributed 4.9 rebounds and 3.6 assists to the team. Last season, Brandon Miller ranked third in the Rookie of the Year voting.
