Santiago Bueno believes squad is ready for Chelsea clash

Santiago Bueno says his team need to improve in both penalty areas if they are to gain victory against Chelsea.

Wolves struggled to capitalise on chances in front of goal and their defence struggled to stop opponents' attacks after their defeat to Newcastle United, but Santiago Bueno believes his players have enough quality to put in a better performance against Chelsea.

"It was a very difficult match with a lot of transitions and counterattacks," said Santiago Bueno. "It was a good match but we failed in both penalty areas, ours and theirs."

"We had clear chances but we just couldn't score. So, I think that's where we have to improve."

"We all know that all games in the Premier League are difficult and we know what difficulties we will encounter against a team like Chelsea. We know their strengths and how they attack, but we also need to focus on their weaknesses, be prepared for the game and get the three points, which is our goal."

"There are no easy opponents in the Premier League, all teams have big weapons. But I think the team is ready, we had a good game at home against Manchester United, we were good in both penalty areas, so we will keep working hard and play a good game."

Santiago Bueno added: "I am happy with the way I have adapted to the Premier League. I think it is the best league in the world at the moment and it is important for me to adapt to this kind of football."

"I have played more games in the first six months of this season than I did in the entire season last year, but I cherish these games because they help me adapt to a different league. In addition, the level of the team and teammates is very high, which has helped me improve a lot. I am also very happy with my progress and hope that this state can continue."
