Ukrainian traditional powerhouse NAVI announced through its official X Twitter account that the club has decided to sell its feeder team NAVI Junior and promote Rifler Makazze to the main roster of NAVI's Counter Strike 2 (CS2) team on Tuesday.
According to NAVI's official statement, in just one year, the current roster has won multiple Tier 2 events, defeated several RMR-level teams in the process, and achieved the best results by achieving the top 30 in the VRS world rankings and was hailed as one of the best youth academy teams. All this is thanks to the efforts of this group of proud and promising team.
Unfortunately, however, due to the current CS2 e-sports ecosystem, the club believes that the development of the roster's members has been limited, so after careful consideration, the club has to decide to accept any potential buyers who are interested in making an offer to acquire NAVI Junior.
In order to reward the outstanding players in the roster, Rifler Makazze will be promoted to the NAVI main team, and the ownership of the other four players dem0n, Krabeni, cmtry, dziugss and coach coolio will also be transferred to their respective new clubs.
NAVI will continue to update the latest developments of the players and coolio as well as the future ownership of NAVI Junior in due course.
In fact, a few weeks ago, rumours claiming that NAVI Junior would be sold had already begun to circulate online.
At that time, French Internet celebrity KRL once said through his personal official X (Twitter) that Cloud9 (C9) would acquire NAVI Junior, which had performed well recently, and return to the CS2 e-sports circle with a new look.
However, this rumour was quickly denied by C9 co-founder and CEO, Jack Etienne.
Despite this, rumours about the change of ownership of NAVI Junior continue be circulated and uninterrupted.
It is worth mentioning that Makazze has long been rumored to be promoted to the NAVI main team due to his outstanding performance, and now this has also confirmed the speculation of netizens.
