DOTA 2 released a statement today, announcing that the 2025 International Invitational (TI14) will be held at the Barclays Arena in Hamburg, Germany from September 11th to 14th.
TI14 was chosen to be held in Hamburg, which means that the DOTA 2 International Invitational (The International, TI for short) returned to Germany after 14 years. Since Valve first held it in Cologne in 2011, the event has become a competitive stage for the world's top teams.
T1 attracts outstanding teams from all over the world to participate every year. 16 teams compete for the qualification through open qualifiers, regional qualifiers and direct invitations. In the end, the champion will receive the "Champion's Shield" symbolizing glory and generous bonuses.
