Manchester City lost to Paris, Guardiola said the match against Bruges was the last chance

Manchester City once led by two goals in the away game against Paris Saint-Germain, but was eventually reversed 2-4. The team has now fallen out of the knockout zone of the new season of the Champions League. Guardiola admitted that Manchester City is currently facing the "reality" of being eliminated from the Champions League and said that the team must beat Bruges.

In the match at the Parc des Princes, Manchester City temporarily jumped to 18th place in the standings thanks to goals from Grealish and Haaland. However, Paris Saint-Germain scored three goals in 22 minutes and eventually won 4-2, causing Manchester City to slip to 25th place, two points behind 24th-placed Stuttgart. The next game against Bruges on January 29 was called "the last chance" by Guardiola.

After the game, Guardiola said: "We still have one last chance, at home against Bruges, I hope we can advance."
