The League of Legends Northern League (NLC) has officially confirmed that Los Ratones, a team founded by well-known streamer Marc Robert "Caedrel" Lamont, will join the league in the 2025 season.
Additionally, the League of Legends EMEA Regional League (ERL) for the UK and Nordic regions has announced a partnership with Swedish gaming chair company Arozzi.
Los Ratones was founded in November 2024 and is made up of well-known players and figures in the League of Legends community, including Tim "Nemesis" Lipovšek, Carl Martin Erik "Rekkles" Larsson, and Simon "Thebausffs" Hofverberg. There has been a lot of speculation about the destination. Now, NLC has officially announced that Los Ratones will appear in the 2025 season. NLC has recently made major adjustments to the 2025 ecosystem, and the new season will kick off on January 15.
In an interview with UK Esports News, Leagues.gg, the organizer of the event, said that 2025 will be "the most important year for esports in the UK and the Nordics."
At the same time, Swedish gaming chair brand Arozzi has also become the title sponsor of NLC 2025. This cooperation will focus on promoting Arozzi's gaming chairs, but the details of the specific marketing activities between NLC and Arozzi have not yet been disclosed.
This is not Arozzi's first foray into e-sports. In 2024, the brand partnered with the British e-sports organization Method to support the "World of Warcraft Global First Kill Competition" event.
Max Grimborg, Head of Leagues Media, expressed his excitement about the partnership, saying: “I am very proud and excited to announce Arozzi as the title sponsor of the NLC 2025.”
“This partnership highlights the growing influence of Nordic esports and the unique opportunities that the NLC offers. We are delighted to be working with Arozzi and believe that this collaboration will bring new heights to the league and the Arozzi brand. Let’s look forward to an unforgettable e-sports year together! ”
