Jimmy Butler suspended two more games for missing team flight

Earlier this month, the Miami Heat suspended Jimmy Butler for seven games, costing the player more than $2 million in salary.

It is reported that Jimmy Butler was suspended for two games again by the Miami Heat. In a statement released by the Miami Heat, Jimmy Butler said that he ignored team rules, disobeyed orders and acted in a way that was detrimental to the team, including missing the flight to Milwaukee earlier.

Jimmy Butler recently told the Miami Heat that he wanted to be traded, but he did not make the request publicly because league rules do not allow players to do so. Any player who makes such a request will face a fine of up to $150,000.

At this point, it appears that the earliest Jimmy Butler could play again for the team is at home against the Orlando Magic. But that will depend on him being on the roster, which doesn't seem to be guaranteed.
