Official: Former iG jungler Jiejie officially joins FPX. He won the World Championship with EDG.

FPX's League of Legends division released an announcement on Saturday, confirming that former iG jungler Zhao Lijie (ID: Jiejie) has officially joined the team. The announcement reads as follows:

"After full and friendly communication and consultation between the club and myself, we are pleased to announce that player Zhao Lijie (ID: Jiejie) has joined FPX and will play as a jungler with us in future competitions.

A cold, shimmering green forest shimmers, a winding stream carries the moon, reflecting its sharp edge. The 23-year-old Jiejie is known for his tempo-based jungle play, excelling at teamfighting heroes like Lee Sin and Prince of Demacia. He began his professional career with EDG.Y in March 2019 and was promoted to EDG's first team in April of the same year.

During his time with EDG, Jiejie won the 2021 LPL Summer Split and the 2021 League of Legends World Championship. He transferred from EDG to iG in November 2024, but earlier this week he chose to terminate his contract and leave the team after refusing to accept a substitute position.
