Le Havre announced on its official website on Thursday that AC Milan's Senegal international defender Fodé Ballo-Touré has joined the club as a free agent.
According to the Ligue 1 club's official statement, Ballo-Touré has signed on a short-term contract which will only run until the end of the season with the club, and he will also wear the No. 97 jersey.
About Fodé Ballo-Touré
Fodé Ballo-Touré, 28, was born on January 3, 1997 in Conflans-Sainte-Honorine, France. He is 1.82 meters tall and plays as a left wingback. He has French, Senegalese and Malian nationalities.
Ballo-Touré joined the Paris Saint-Germain youth academy at the age of 8 and began to play for the Paris Saint-Germain B team in 2014.
After leaving the club when his contract had expired in the summer of 2017, Ballo-Touré moved to Lille as a free agent and completed his Lille first-team debut in August of the same year.
In January 2019, Ballo-Touré moved to Monaco for €6.5 million.
In July 2021, Ballo-Touré joined AC Milan for €4.2 million.
On the 2023 summer transfer window deadline day, Ballo-Touré was loaned-out to Fulham, during which he reached the semi-finals of the Carabao Cup with the club.
After returning to the club following his loan spell last summer, Ballo-Touré and former Liverpool legendary Belgium international forward Divock Origi were demoted to the U23s by AC Milan for no reason.
During his three-and-a-half-year spell with I Rossoneri, Ballo-Touré played 26 times for AC Milan in all competitions, scored 1 goal, and won the Serie A once with the club.
