German Counter Strike 2 powerhouse G2 announced on Tuesday through its official X (Twitter) account that they have decided to part ways with its former In-Game Leader, Snax, who has been benched last month.
According to a report from foreign media outlet Dust2, currently it is still unknown which team is interested in signing Snax, who has become a free agent, but it's undeniable that G2 is constantly on the lookout for new players to bolster its roster.
About Snax
Snax, 32, was born in Poland on July 5, 1993. He has been a professional Counter Strike e-sports player since 2010, primarily as a In-Game Leader and rifler.
Snax played for teams including Universal Soldiers, DELTA, MaxFloPlaY, ALSEN Team, and AGAIN.
In 2014, Snax joined Virtus.pro (VP).
During his four-year spell with VP, Snax won six S-tier tournaments, earning him a spot in HLTV's Top 20 Players of the Year for three consecutive years.
In June 2018, Snax joined MOUZ.
During this time, he helped the team win ESL One New York.
At the end of the same year, Snax returned to VP but was benched a month later due to poor results.
Since then, Snax has played for Illuminar, MONKE, Let Us Cook, Pompa, and GamerLegion (GL).
In July 2024, Snax joined G2 Esports.
During this time, he won the BLAST Premier Fall Finals and World Championship with the team, reached the PGL Bucharest finals and the Esports World Cup finals, and even reached the semifinals of the Perfect World Shanghai Major.
However, due to subsequent decline in performance, Snax was benched in July 2025 and his role as In-Game Leader was handed over to Hunter.
