League of Legends: NAVI reportedly interested in signing former Kamine Corp academy team head coach TheRock7..

Foreign media outlet Sheep Esports exclusively reported on Wednesday that veteran Ukrainian esports powerhouse NAVI is interested in signing TheRock7, the former head coach of Kamine Corp's League of Legends academy team.

According to the report, despite TheRock7 has expressed his willingness to remain with Kamine Corp, however the French esports club has informed the young Greek coach that they will not be renewing his contract.

Kamine Corp has already benched TheRock7 and temporarily replaced him with its main team's head coach, Reha, who will also serve as head coach of the academy team.

NAVI has also reportedly notified head coach freddy122 of his departure following their elimination from the LEC Summer Split.

If nothing unexpected happens, NAVI will soon begin appronching Kamine Corp to acquire TheRock7's ownership rights, and the coach would not be reluctant to work with the world-renowned esports powerhouse.

If the transfer is successful, TheRock7 will likely be confirmed as NAVI's new head coach for the 2026 LEC season. However, the team will continue to play with the original roster for the remainder of this year.

It's worth noting that this isn't the first time NAVI has been reported to have preemptively bought out players and coaches from other clubs.

Two months ago, as reported by Sheep Esports, NAVI had been planning to sign former Dsyre jungler Rhilech since October of last year and successfully secured his signature.

Former jungler Thayger will continue to play for NAVI as usual for the remainder of this year's tournaments.

TheRock7, 35, was born in Greece on October 17, 1989. He joined the League of Legends professional esports scene as a coach in 2022.

TheRock7 made an instant impact in his coaching debut with Phantasma, winning the 2022 Greek Legends League Summer Split. He then coached WLGaming to victory in the European Pro League Season 1.

In 2024, while coaching Partizan Belgrade, he led the team to a runner-up finish in the EBL Summer.

In January of this year, TheRock7 became the head coach of Kamine Corp's academy team, Kamine Corp Blue.
