Maximilian Kleber suffers broken right foot vs. Boston Celtics

The Dallas Mavericks' midseason injury woes continue as center Maximilian Kleber was injured during a game.  

Maximilian Kleber fractured his right foot in a 122-107 home loss to the Boston Celtics, adding to the Dallas Mavericks' list of players who are out of action, leaving the team with just one center available.  

At the end of the third quarter, Maximilian Kleber left the court and will be re-evaluated next week. This season, Maximilian Kleber missed 12 games due to previous injuries. Maximilian Kleber averaged 19 minutes per game, 3.1 points and 2.8 rebounds.  

Maximilian Kleber is the only backup behind starting center Daniel Gafford. Derek Lively II started 25 games at center for the team. Dwight Powell, the team's main starting center before Lively arrived last season, missed the last four games due to a hip injury.  

The most notable player on the Dallas Mavericks' injury list right now is Luka Doncic, who has been out since Christmas with a strained left calf. Luka Doncic, who finished third in last season's MVP voting, has missed 24 of the team's 46 games this season due to multiple injuries.
