Jack O'Brien: I am delighted to be able to show my quality under the leadership of manager David Moyes

Everton's Jack O'Brien says he is delighted to be able to show his quality in the team under the guidance of manager David Moyes after a frustrating first half of the season.  

Jack O'Brien started for the team in the past two games, winning consecutive victories over Tottenham Hotspur and Brighton & Hove Albion. In the match against Brighton, Jack O'Brien played the full 90 minutes, and the player said it was a difficult game.  

Jack O'Brien said: "We knew it wasn't going to be easy against Brighton but we are very happy to get the three points and it was a top performance from us."  

Before the arrival of coach David Moyes, Jack O'Brien had only played three times as a substitute in the Premier League this season. However, with the arrival of David Moyes, Jack O'Brien found a new role in the team, that is, the right back position.  

Jack O'Brien said: "I'm glad the manager has given me an opportunity to come in and play a new role and I'm glad to have won two games now. I know it's always going to be different and I think when you see me you wouldn't think I'm a full-back, but I have the ability to defend one-on-one and I can also dribble the ball. So I think I can express myself naturally."  

"I had a lot of doubts about what kind of player I was. I was frustrated because I hadn't proven who I was, but now I'm happy that I can get on the team and start showing what I can do."  

After the game, Everton players stayed to applaud the fans who came from afar. Jack O'Brien also talked about the importance of the fans and handed his jersey to the visiting team to express his gratitude.
