Counter Strike 2: Chinggis Warrriors' In-Game Leader controlez to stand-in for The MongolZ at at the Intel Extreme Masters (IEM) Chengdu..

Mongolian Counter Strike 2 powerhouse The MongolZ announced Thursday via its official Telegram account that Chinggis Warrriors' In-Game Leader, controlez, will stand-in for the team at the Intel Extreme Masters (IEM) Chengdu.

According to The MongolZ's official statement, due to time constraints, the team did not have sufficient time to identify academy players to promote as stand-in. Therefore, after full team discussion, the decision was made to select an experienced and consistent player, and controlez fits the bill.

controlez will replace Senzu, who was recently shockingly benched.

It's worth noting that controlez himself was also benched earlier this month and replaced by efire, who returned to the starting roster two months after being benched.

This roster participated in the ESN Fall Showdown, where they ultimately finished second.

About controlez

The 28-year-old controlez was born in Mongolia on May 23, 1997. He primarily plays as rifler and can also serve as a In-Game Leader.

controlez began his career as a professional Counter Strike esports player in 2017, initially playing for The MongolZ but being benched after a month.

He subsequently played for Aravt, winning the 2022 Jig Jug National Championship and the Perfect World Arena Premier League Season 3 Challengers Division.

After a two-year break, controlez returned in 2024, joining Chinggis Warriors.

Since joining Chinggis Warriors, Controlez has won the MESA League Season 4 with the team, but his rating is only at a mere 0.99 over the past three months.
