James Garner, who currently plays for Everton, said he enjoyed the moment and is hungry for more as he recovered from injury in his team's win over Brighton and Hove Albion.
The positive momentum continues under David Moyes, who took over as manager. Everton have won two games in a row for the first time this season and the player is keen to build on the momentum after noticing the changes in the team.
James Garner said: "It feels great. I have been resting for nearly 4 months, so I feel great to be back on the court, especially when we are playing with one less player."
“It’s not easy for a player to be injured, especially for such a long time. It was tough mentally when I saw all the boys going out to train every day. However, I knew I had to do everything in the gym and do everything I could to recover as quickly as possible.”
"Now I'm back, but everything still needs to be done well. Any training that can keep me in shape and recover is something I'm very willing to do."
After a few months of intense individual training, James Garner's first training session with the whole team happened to be David Moyes' first training session. James Garner also said: "When I got fit again, the first training session I attended was also the first training session of the new coach, so I decided to come back and show my strength that day."
"We've just won two tough games and you can see the change in us and I hope that change continues."
"Also, the staff here are very good. When I was injured, I was assigned a medic who was very good to me and really helped me a lot. When I had a few days of low mood, the medics were always there for me. They not only took care of the medical aspects, but also the psychological aspects.
