The 2025 Dota 2 Tier 1 tournament, BLAST Slam IV, will be held from November 7th to 9th at the Singapore Indoor Stadium, marking the first offline showdown in the history of the BLAST series and announcing the official start of the new season.
Six teams advanced to the playoffs: Team Falcons, Tundra Esports, MOUZ, Team Spirit, Aurora Gaming, and HEROIC. They emerged victorious from the group stage and playoffs in mid-October to compete for the final championship.
The playoffs will use a single-elimination format, with all matches being best-of-three games, except for the grand final, which will be a best-of-five series. The quarterfinal matchups are MOUZ vs. Team Spirit, and Aurora Gaming vs. HEROIC; the winning teams will then face Tundra Esports and Team Falcons respectively in the semifinals.
The BLAST Slam IV prize pool boasts a whopping $1 million, with $750,000 in prize money and $250,000 in team revenue sharing. The champion team will take home $400,000 ($300,000 in prize money + $100,000 in team revenue) and receive a direct invite to BLAST Slam VI. The runner-up will receive $200,000, while teams finishing third through sixth will share in the substantial prize money and tickets to next season's tournament.
As the fourth edition of the BLAST Dota 2 series, the Singapore event not only brings together top teams from around the world but also symbolizes BLAST's further expansion into the competitive arena. Viewers can look forward to witnessing the birth of a new champion during these three days of competition.
