League of Legends: JDG officially parted ways with its support player Zhang Rui..

JD Gaming (JDG) League of Legends division announced on its official Weibo account on Wednesday that the club has parted ways with its support player Zhang Rui (ID: Wink).

According to JDG's official statement, the club is very grateful for Zhang Rui's past hard work and unwavering dedication, and wishes him all the best for the future.

Currently, there are no rumours regarding which player JDG will sign to replace Zhang Rui.

On the other hand, former Hanhwa Life Esport (HLE) bot laner Viper is widely rumored to be JDG's top target to replace Peyz.

However, this rumour regarding Viper has not yet been confirmed by any major authoritative media outlet.

JDG recently announced that their foreign player Peyz will leave the team and return to Korea.

Shortly afterward, rumours that the player would join Worlds champions and LCK powerhouse T1 to replace their ace ADC player Gumayusi were confirmed.

Gumayusi has been confirmed by Sheep Esports to be highly likely to return to HLE after a six-year hiatus, and is expected to not be joining JDG.
