Manchester United officially announce the signing of Arsenal's England U19s international defender wonderkid Ayden Heaven..


Manchester United announced on its official website on Saturday that the club has signed England U19s international defender wonderkid Ayden Heaven from Arsenal.

 

According to Manchester United's official statement, Heaven has signed on a long-term four-year deal with the club which runs until the summer of 2029, with option to extend for a further year. At the same time, he will also wear the No. 26 jersey which was vacated after England international goalkeeper Dean Henderson had left the club.

 

After completing his joining procedures, Heaven, who was interviewed by Manchester United's official website for the first time, said: "I am proud to join Manchester United and I thank everyone who helped me realize this dream."

 

"I have many goals to achieve in the game, and I will do my best to continue to improve and become the best player."

 

About Ayden Heaven

 

Heaven, who is only 18 years old, was born in Enfield, England on September 22, 2006. He is 1.89 meters tall and primarily plays as a center back, but can also play as a left back.

 

Heaven joined West Ham United's youth academy at the age of 8, moved to Arsenal's youth academy in 2019, and completed his Arsenal first-team debut in a Carabao Cup match in October 2024.

 

During his 6-year spell with the Gunners, Heaven played 26 times for the Premier League giants' U21s team across all competitions, without scoring any goals or making any assists.
