Experienced Swedish Counter Strike 2 club 9INE announced on Friday that Wildcard AWP-er phzy has officially returned to the team in a permanent transfer.

According to 9INE's official statement, the club has bought out phzy's rights. They also jokingly referenced phzy's previous statement that he relied on ChatGPT to help him decide which club to sign with.

phzy's transfer is arguably the most chaotic Counter Strike 2 (CS2) transfer of the second half of 2025.

Initially, he joined 9INE on loan in August to replace mantuu, who was forced to miss the tournament due to an arm injury, for the CCT Season 3 European Series 4.

A month later, Wildcard recalled phzy early and assigned him as a starter for the Fragdelphia Knoxville tournament, Fragville.

However, Wildcard lost to experienced powerhouse Fnatic (FNC) in the Frag Blocktober finals.

This defeat meant they failed to qualify for the Starladder Budapest Major, rendering phzy's return futile.
