Tundra Esport wins FISSURE PLAYGROUND Belgrade title

In the grand final of FISSURE PLAYGROUND Belgrade, Tundra Esport defeated Team Falcons 3-2 to win the first Dota 2 Tier 1 tournament championship in 2025.

Tundra Esport won the championship and received a $400,000 first prize. The total prize pool of the event is $1 million. Tundra Esport made a lineup adjustment in early January this year, introducing dyrachyo and bzm. Their joining helped the team win the championship at FISSURE PLAYGROUND Belgrade.

Meanwhile, Team Falcons won $170,000 as runner-up. This is the 10th time that Team Falcons has finished in the top three of the event since the team was founded in 2024. Unfortunately, they were unable to win their seventh championship during this period.

It is worth mentioning that both Tundra Esport and Team Falcons have obtained direct invitations to the FISSURE PLAYGROUND event, but both teams did not have an ideal start in the group stage.

Tundra Esport and Team Falcons were both defeated in the first round of the group stage, but fought back to defeat their opponents and advance to the knockout stage. In the finals, Tundra Esport was trailing 0-2, but then turned the tables and won 3-2.

In the fourth game of the finals, Tundra Esport completely crushed Team Falcons and dragged the finals into the final game. In the fifth game, all the players of Tundra Esport performed explosively, and almost every player got at least 6 kills. In the end, Tundra Esport quickly ended the game with a kill score of 36-12 in 25 minutes.
