Leipzig coach Marco Rose said in an interview, "We tried our best to fight for every ball and pressed hard, which are the basic tasks that must be done at the Old Forester's Stadium. However, we still failed to create enough threats on the offensive end. We tried to dribble too early, made the wrong passing decisions, and seemed too careless overall."

Now we have to work harder in every training session.”

In addition, Leipzig defender Orban said, "The team is indeed missing something at the moment, which is very obvious. We adjusted to four defenders in the second half, and the team's performance improved, which is helpful to us."
