GamerLegion demoted ztr to the bench, initiating a new round of personnel adjustments.

GamerLegion's CS2 division announced on Friday that Swedish player Erik Gustafsson (ID: ztr) has been officially relegated to the bench.

“We are deeply grateful for Eric’s professionalism, dedication, and the exceptional character he has brought to the team,” GamerLegion told HLTV. “Our goal is to add more experience to the roster to better support the team’s long-term development. Eric has always been a role model and an outstanding individual during his time with the team, and we wish him all the best in his future career.”

The 22-year-old ztr primarily plays the in-game leader position and has previously played for teams such as Valorix, Prima, KPI, Young Ninjas, NIP, GODSENT, Project G, and Metizport. Since joining GamerLegion in July 2024, he has played on 297 maps and participated in 6463 rounds, leading his team to 9th place in the HLTV world rankings and 8th place in the VRS rankings in June 2025. However, GamerLegion's performance subsequently declined, falling out of the top 20 in the world by the end of the year.

With Ashley Batty (ID: ash) resigning as coach and ztr being relegated to the bench, GamerLegion is entering a new period of adjustment. The current roster is as follows:
