Luis Enrique insists there is still room for improvement

The 2024/25 French Cup round of 16 will be contested tomorrow, with French Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain heading to Le Mans. Enrique said he was satisfied with the team's overall performance, but also insisted that the team still has room for improvement.

With Dembele's hat-trick and Gonzalo Ramos's double goal, Paris Saint-Germain defeated Brest 5-2 away in the focus match of the 20th round of the French Ligue 1 earlier, and successfully won the French Cup challenge with a victory.

Paris Saint-Germain coach Luis Enrique said at a press conference, "When we face the ball, it doesn't mean that we have done everything very well, but losing doesn't mean that we have done everything wrong. I am very satisfied with the team's current performance and data. Of course, we still have room for improvement."

"Dembélé has always been a different player, able to dribble past multiple players, provide assists and score goals. Our aim is always to find him in space as much as possible because he is a key player, whether in the middle or out wide."

Enrique also said, "I am satisfied with Gonzalo Ramos' attitude. He has always been positive. He is also a reliable player. Whether he starts or only plays for one minute, he will do his best. Joao Neves does not have any specific injury problems. We just manage his physical load reasonably according to the schedule, just like other players, so that he can get proper rest."

As for the rest of the lineup, Enrique said, "As a substitute for Ashraf, Yoram Xhaka can play as a right-back, which is a familiar face for us. Zaire Emery and Marquinhos can also play this position. I am very satisfied with the team's overall lineup, and it has been the same since I came here."
