Contra: Return officially released eight new underwater levels, bringing a brand new experience to Honor of Kings players.

Honor of Kings' "Contra: Return" has officially launched eight new underwater levels. As a reinterpretation of classic gameplay, this update not only evokes nostalgia among veteran players but also provides new players with a more immersive and challenging experience. This is both a heartfelt return to the classic and a new stage in the project team's exploration of innovation while preserving tradition.  

The new eight underwater levels feature a comprehensive upgrade in both gameplay and visual presentation. While retaining the classic core mechanics, the levels introduce a realistic underwater combat experience for the first time. Players must cope with oxygen depletion, limited underwater movement, and a completely new combat environment, resulting in an overall experience that is much closer to the real underwater world. At the same time, the team has constructed a complete underwater ecosystem, making the combat pace more intense and significantly enhancing immersion.  

The levels have seen a significant improvement in art quality and scene presentation. Through a gradual build-up of emotions and impactful scene design, players can experience richly layered level content and a more immersive visual experience. Meanwhile, fun Easter eggs are cleverly incorporated into the levels, with classic weapons and limited-edition heroes making a comeback, adding even more surprises to the overall experience.  

To enhance the game's long-term playability, Contra: Return has officially launched a trading system in this update. Players can acquire trading diamonds through trading, which can be used to quickly exchange for directly purchased items or related paid experiences. The system is simple to operate and transparent in its process, not only promoting positive interaction among players but also further enriching the overall game ecosystem and gameplay layers.
