Peanut's message to Oner: A legacy of one man, one team.

After Oner renewed his contract with T1 until 2028, the future direction of this three-time League of Legends world champion has once again become the focus.

Recently, retired legendary jungler Peanut talked about this during a live stream, revealing that he had spoken with Oner after the 2025 World Championship and suggested that he stay with T1 for his entire career and become a symbol of "one man, one team".

Peanut stated that Oner possesses the ability and mindset to keep moving forward, and is fully deserving of having a complete career with the same team.

According to South Korean media reports, T1 had already proposed a contract extension to Oner before the entire team went to China for the 2025 World Championship, and this early planning ultimately paid off with a world championship title. T1's general manager also confirmed that the club's long-term goal is to retain Oner for as long as possible, considering him one of the core members of the team.

The CEO of Oner's agency also emphasized that the player has focused solely on T1 from the beginning. His next clear goal is to represent South Korea at the Asian Games. Winning the Asian Games would not only bring glory to the country but also grant him exemption from military service, which is of great significance to a professional player.

From a team history perspective, Oner is one of the key members who remained with T1 from the "miracle generation" that emerged in 2021-2022.

With Zeus and Gumayusi transferring to Hanwha Life Esports, only Oner and Keria remain around Faker, and Faker himself has extended his contract until 2029. This roster structure makes Oner's presence all the more valuable.

It's worth mentioning that Peanut himself was once a member of T1. In 2017, he won the LCK Spring Split and Mid-Season Invitational with the team and reached the World Championship finals. Although Faker left a message at the 2025 LCK exhibition match hoping for his return, many years later, only a few players actually returned to their former teams.
