Premier League – Wirtz scores as Liverpool beat Wolves 2-1.

In a key match of the 18th round of the 2025/26 Premier League season, Liverpool, playing at Anfield, defeated Wolverhampton Wanderers 2-1 thanks to goals from Hrafinberg and Wirtz.

Eight minutes into the game, Liverpool launched an attack, with Wirtz dribbling forward and passing into the penalty area, but McAllister was unable to create a threat. In the 11th minute, Ektiq received a through ball from Wirtz and curled a shot, but the ball hit the post.

In the 17th minute, Wolves intercepted the ball and launched a counter-attack.
