Raul Jimenez hopes the team can maintain its current excellent performance.

Raul Jimenez hopes Fulham can maintain their current form after the resumption of play in the new year. The team secured all three points in their final three Premier League matches of 2025 and currently sit comfortably in the top half of the table. Notably, Raul Jimenez scored the winning goals in the last two matches, playing a crucial role in the team's victories.  

After the match, Raul Jimenez said: "Winning three consecutive games means a lot to us. I'm happy to end the year with a victory and hope to start next year in the same way. I think we played well throughout the game and controlled it firmly. Although the goal came in the final stages, we ultimately won 1-0 and went home with three points, which makes us very happy."  

“Maintaining this good form is crucial. We hope to maintain this performance throughout the season. We are currently in great shape, we don’t want to lose it, and we hope to continue doing so.”  

This victory brings Fulham within three points of fifth-placed Chelsea in the standings . The team hopes to extend their away winning streak to four games when they travel to Selhurst Park to challenge Chelsea on New Year's Day, further narrowing the gap with Chelsea on points.  

When asked about the potential threat from Crystal Palace, Raul Jimenez replied: "We are capable of handling them. They play very well and are a tough team. Sometimes they have possession, sometimes they counter-attack, so we have to be prepared. Now we have a few days to recover and plan for the next game, and then move on."
