West Ham United announced on their official website on Friday that the club have signed Brazilian striker Pablo Felipe from Gil Vicente.
According to West Ham's official statement, Felipe has signed on a four-and-a-half-year long-term deal with the club which runs until the summer of 2030, with an option to extend for a further year. He will wear the number 19 shirt.
Furthermore, according to The Athletic's resident renowned West Ham United English team correspondent Roshane Thomas, the Premier League club paid Gil Vicente £17.5 million to sign Felipe.
After completing his transfer, Felipe, who was interviewed by the West Ham United official website for the first time, said: "I'm very happy to be here. I will give my all for this club, fight with everything on the pitch, and give my all."
"The fans really love players who fight for the crest, and I can assure you, I will give every drop of sweat for this club on the pitch."
"I want to send a strong message: I'm here to prove myself. I know I'm young, but I know that playing for this club means giving it your all, so I will definitely do everything I can for the club and my teammates."
