Toulouse announced on their official website on Wednesday that Strasbourg's Senegal international defensive midfielder Pape Demba Diop has joined the club on-loan.

According to the Ligue 1 club's official statement, Demba Diop will play for the club on loan until the end of the season, and the loan agreement does not include any option to buy. He will also wear the number 18 jersey.

After completing his transfer procedures, Demba Diop, who was interviewed by the Toulouse official website for the first time, said: "I am very happy to be at Toulouse. I can't wait to see everyone on the pitch, and I will do my best to help the team achieve its goals."

About Pape Demba Diop

The 22-year-old Demba Diop was born on September 4, 2003, in Ouakam, Senegal. He is 1.78 meters tall and plays as a defensive midfielder.

Demba Diop joined the youth academy of Senegalese club Diambars at a young age and completed his Diambars first-team debut in a CAF Confederations Cup match in September 2021.
