European CS2 professional team Fnatic (hereinafter referred to as FNC) officially announced on Friday that 27-year-old Montenegrin rifler Pavle Boskovic (ID: Maden) will replace Benjamin Bremer (ID: blameF) in the starting lineup, effective immediately. As for blameF, he had already joined BIG on the same day Maden joined.
Before joining FNC, Maden played for Zero Tenacity for about eight months. According to HLTV, he played a total of 140 maps and participated in 3050 rounds for Zero Tenacity, with an average personal rating of 1.08.
Besides Zero Tenacity, he has also played for several other CS teams, including AKOPALIPSA, BLUEJAYS, SMASH, GODSENT, FPX, ENCE, and Falcons. His most notable achievement in his career was winning the IEM Dallas championship with ENCE in 2013.
Regarding this roster change, FNC explained in a statement: "As part of our future system building, we recognize the need to shift towards a more proactive, breakthrough-focused, and aggressive rifler style of play. To support this direction, we are delighted to welcome Maden—an experienced space creator. We will be fully prepared for the upcoming Major and T1 events."
All indications suggest that Maden will make his FNC debut in the first stage of the BLAST Bounty Race on January 12.
With Maden's addition, FNC's current roster is as follows:
Commander/Rifleman: Rodion Smick (ID: fEAR)
Sniper: Dmitro Shemela (ID: jambo)
Rifleman: Freddie Johansson (ID: KRIMZ)
Rifleman: Nikita Skiba (ID: jackasmo)
