German e-sports team Gamer Legion (GL) seeks communication with Valve over Counter Strike 2 Valve Regional Standings (VRS) ranking system unfairness..

German e-sports team Gamer Legion (GL) announced on Wednesday through its official Twitter account that the organization hopes to seek dialogue with Valve regarding the unfairness of the February VRS Regional Standing (VRS) ranking system in Counter Strike 2 (CS2).

GL wrote in an official statement: "Dear Counter Strike community, we found that there seems to be a calculation discrepancy in the February Valve ranking update, specifically involving the prize pool calculation and the minimum prize pool guarantee for teams still in the competition, which is intended to balance the prize pool of eliminated teams."

"This issue has seriously affected our recent ranking and qualifications for invitations, as we missed the 12th place in the global VRS that we believe we deserve."

"As a team committed to excellence and fair competition, we have contacted Valve and believe that clarifying this situation is of vital importance to the interests of the entire competitive community. In addition, this may affect other teams in the future, so it is even more necessary for Valve to resolve this issue quickly."

"Our intention is not to undermine any other team; on the contrary, we seek transparency and consistency to maintain the spirit of fair competition. We fully respect all judgments and believe that Valve will handle this matter properly."

"We thank our fans and peers for their continued support and will continue to be committed to maintaining the highest professional standards in the field of e-sports."

Subsequently, according to the news brought by HLTV, Valve has realized the seriousness of this problem and has begun to seek a solution to resolve this issue as soon as possible.
