Tottenham Hotspur manager Angel Postecoglou says the club is working hard to bring in new signings in the January transfer window. Tottenham Hotspur have been weakened by a string of injuries, with left-back Destiny Udogi sidelined for six weeks with a hamstring injury.
But despite the need for Tottenham Hotspur to recruit, manager Angel Postecoglou does not want panic buying. "I don't think it's a matter of pushing, but I think the club is trying to provide some help to the player group," said Ange Postecoglou.
"It's no secret that we need to increase our numbers a little bit, so the club is working on that. January is not an easy month, it's not an easy time to recruit quickly. Also, I also want to make sure we do what we think is best for us and not rush in and recruit people who are not suitable."
"Whether it's a loan or a permanent transfer, I think the most important thing is that it has to fit in with what we are trying to create here from a football and cultural perspective," Ange Postecoglou added.
"It's not just about getting something usable quickly, I don't think that's the solution we need. We've been very rigorous in what we do so far, and we're going to continue to do that."
