English League Cup - Salah scored as Liverpool beat Tottenham Hotspur 4-0

The second leg of the 2024/25 English League Cup semi-final staged another focus battle. Liverpool, playing at Anfield, defeated Tottenham Hotspur 4-0 with goals from Gakpo, Salah, Soboslai and Van Dijk.

Six minutes into the match, Liverpool organized an attack. Soboslai received a pass from Nunez and shot at the goal, but was blocked by the opponent. In the 14th minute, Liverpool attacked with a corner kick. Ben Davies was knocked down by Tottenham goalkeeper Kinski when he stepped forward to defend, causing bleeding on his head, but he continued to play after treatment.
