NBA All-Star Draft is over, the game will be held on February 16

Back to the draft night, the 2025 NBA All-Star Draft has officially come to an end. Legendary stars and commentators Charles Barkley, Shaquille O'Neal and Kenny Smith personally selected the lineup, bringing a new highlight to the All-Star Game to be held in San Francisco on February 16.

In this year's All-Star Game draft, Shaquille O'Neal held the No. 1 pick and chose Lakers star LeBron James without hesitation. The 40-year-old three-time Olympic champion still maintains his peak level on the court and ushered in the 22nd season of his personal career.

Kenny Smith surprised many by selecting Timberwolves star Anthony Edwards with the second pick. Although he did not take a place in the initial All-Star starting list, his outstanding performance in last year's Paris Olympics (2024) made the 23-year-old Atlanta star a popular candidate.

The third pick was selected by Charles Barkley - Nikola Jokic of the Nuggets, the 2024 NBA MVP. Jokic won the MVP in last year's NBA season and led the Serbian team to win the bronze medal in the Paris Olympics, showing unparalleled dominance.

This year's All-Star Game ushered in a new competition system, with 24 players selected into three All-Star teams, and the fourth team composed of the league's top rookies.

Four teams will compete in a knockout tournament, including two semi-finals, with the winners advancing to the championship game. All matches will be decided by 40 points (or higher), which is expected to bring more intense competition and more entertaining games to fans.
